Every time you defeat a character at a challenge, that character will be improved and join your team, adventure, and fight. The battle locations in the game simulate in 3D, but the character details are still slightly 2D anime. The game provides an overview map of all areas, and when you want to move to a certain location, you only need to click the arrow to select areas you want.
